Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal
I have the honor to inform you that the 56th Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation, Asia and Pacific Region (DGCA/56) will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 19 to 23 August 2019 at hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza. On behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, it is my pleasure to cordially invite you and your delegation to this Conference.
The Theme of the DGCA/56 is
“Harmonizing Efforts to Meet the Capacity Constraints.”
The theme is considered relevant keeping in view of the need of increasing physical and human resources so as to be able to cope with the high growth of air traffic in the Asia Pacific Region with mutual cooperation and harmonizing efforts among the States/Administrations and Organizations to ensure safe, secure, efficient and economically sustainable development of civil aviation in the region.
To facilitate in the preparation for the Conference, I would like to request you to kindly take note of the following administrative arrangements:
1. Submission of Conference papers
For presentation of Discussion Papers (DPs) and/or Information Papers (IPs) for the Conference, please take into consideration the Conference theme and the Provisional Agenda. The electronic copy of the paper(s) should be sent to the ICAO APAC Office by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy to the Conference Secretariat (i.e. CAA Nepal) at email@example.com by 18 July 2019, the deadline for submission of papers.
2. Conference website
A Conference website has been setup with the internet address : www.dgca56.com.np. All papers will be posted on the Conference website prior to the Conference. The registration details are contained in the invitation letters sent to each State/Administration and Organization.
The website will contain, as they become available, the Conference Bulletin, Conference Agenda, Conference Programme, guidance on the submission of DPs and IPs, DP and IP templates, registration procedures and other logistical information for delegates and accompanying persons.
3. Conference registration and hotel information
States/Administrations and other invited organizations are requested to send the names of their authorized delegation along with passport numbers to the ICAO APAC Office by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy to email@example.com prior to any individual registration. The Conference Registration Form will be available in the Conference website. It is recommended that you make your Conference registration online preferably before 1 August 2019.
The Conference delegates are entitled to discounts at the recommended hotels and also on our national Flag Carrier, Nepal Airlines. Please refer to the Conference website regarding hotel reservation and other relevant information. The last date for the online hotel booking is 12 August 2019. Delegates may book their hotel rooms through hotel website directly and inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org for our record. A separate programme for the accompanying persons will be designed and made available in the Conference website.
